June 15-19....Horse Around ________ July 13-17.....Back to Nature _______ __________________________ Children ages 8-12 yrs_______ ________________________ Monday - Friday 9 am - 4 pm priced at $40/day or $175/week. __________________________For an extra $5/hour, children can be dropped off earlier or stay later.
Morning day camp now available for ages 4-7.

Experience nature and farm life in a relaxed, hands-on environment. Meet heritage breed farm animals along with a pony ride for children. Explore our heirloom variety vegetable garden, fruit trees, and wild grapes & berries in season.
Learn where vegetables, meats, and dairy products come from, take a nature hike through our wetland, prairie, and forest habitats along groomed trails. Then share a meal on picnic tables near the fishing pond.
Prairie Winds Farm offers a safe haven and space to roam. Most group visits are scheduled Monday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm. Children must be accompanied by the required ratio of adults for their age group.
Our introductory price for a visit is only $3 per child.

Prairie Winds Farm is a working partner of the Michiana Food Security Initiative.
I provide educational and fun field trips and curriculum development for kids of all ages. Together we decide on the activities taking into consideration the weather/season, your group's size, ages of the children, and their interests. We currently have preschool and elementary aged groups visiting on a regular basis, integrating the activities of the farm into the academic curriculum. I'm available for classroom visits. My talks have lots of slides and other items I can bring to add interactivity to these presentations.
